The Segal Family Foundation supports African-led grassroots non-profits and social enterprises to accelerate development on the continent.
It runs the African Visionary Fellowship, a bastion of African changemakers running various organisations needing varied technical support. Since 2020, I have supported over 30 Fellows in communication and strategy development.
Support provided:
Grantee workshops on communication.
One-on-one support for grantees on strategy and communication.
Developed annual reports, communication strategies and plans, re-branding, website development, impact story writing.
Grantee team training.
Supported the Segal Family Foundation office in Kenya to develop its inaugural communication strategy.

Big wins:
I have provided over 5,000 hours to fellows through workshops and one-on-one support.
A single training session on annual report writing saw me develop over 20 annual reports for organisations, some of which had never produced one to assist in fundraising and program reporting.
Developed annual reports, communication strategies and plans, re-branding, website development, impact story writing.
Following my support, fellows have successfully fundraised on average $50,000 and above for their organisations.
Organisations trained possess a better understanding of strategy and communications, which has led to stronger systems and more equipped teams.
